Silver Lining: to the summit

to the summit

Some posts are better with very few words, and this is one of them. Buffalo Peak is one of our favorite hikes because it's so incredibly gorgeous year-round, and also because it's a quick and easy hike. We call it a weekday hike because you can slip out after dinner any old day and hike this peak, which is exactly what we did a few nights ago on a warm and beautiful evening. Can you believe it's already fall in the mountains?

I believe there are pictures of me frolicking in this meadow a few years ago when we did this hike with Ben and Elisabeth. You can read it HERE if you'd like :)

She was so happy to be snuggled up in her Baby Bjorn, holding dad's finger the whole time :) We left the top up to shade her from the sun.

Tell us what your favorite hikes are in Utah.
We've been hoping to add a few to our short list this fall.
And can you believe all those fall colors already?!

    1. It's right up Provo Canyon, kind of behind Squaw Peak. It's really beautiful (and easy!). You should do it! You can find good directions online :)
