SURPRISE! Announcing...

This has been a long time coming, but I'm so excited to announce that -

We're moving! To Arizona! 

Sam has accepted an amazing and very generous offer to earn his MBA at Arizona State University. We'll be moving there this summer so he can start his program in the fall.

To say we're excited about this is an understatement. We're over the moon about it. Something feels so incredibly right about this. We prayed and prayed and worked and worked for a long time for this to happen, and now it's happening! In just a few months, we'll be packing up and beginning an all-new adventure in the land of the sundevils. (Are sundevils a real thing?) (Just googled it.) (They're just a mascot.) (A creepy-looking mascot.)

That's not to say that we're not a little apprehensive. Because we are. We're terrified. In fact, here's a list of things you probably shouldn't ask me about:

Won't it be hard to leave your family and support system?

What about all your friends here?

Isn't it like 115 degrees in the shade down there?

Aren't there scorpions and rattlesnakes at every turn?

Isn't it so hot that steering wheels melt in the summer?

What are you going to do for money?

Do you have any idea where you're going to live?

I'm worried that YOU DON'T REALIZE HOW HOT IT IS?!!

Ha! Yes, I am having panic attacks about all this. Daily. But think of all the good things! An MBA! New home! New friends! Free fresh oranges everywhere! Nice winters! Pools on every street!

Arizona friends, where you at? I need you! Message me if you're willing to let me ask you a few questions about the Tempe area.

But seriously, I'm super proud of Sam, and honestly we're giddy about starting a brand new adventure this summer. Bring on the heat!
