Silver Lining: I hereby declare I have fallen for teacher fonts

I hereby declare I have fallen for teacher fonts

Hi. It's Monday, and the first Monday of the two crazy weeks of my life (the two weeks I'm wishing we could just fast forward and be done with. Oh teacher work sample.... and everything else).

So here's something to send us all off to work and school and crazy days and morning coffee and laying in bed until noon (I'm jealous of all you lay in bed until noon-ers):

Turns out I'm one of those teachers who love fonts. Fonts for homework sheets, fonts for anchor charts, fonts for parent letters home. I didn't think I'd be that teacher {cute fonts aren't necessary! and stuff!} butttttt now I am, so let's just embrace it, shall we?

My 6 most popular fonts (all from dafont.com):

Teacher or not, do you use cute fonts? Tell me the names of your favorites!

Although I do promise to never break the cardinal rule of never putting entire paragraphs in size 12 cutesy font. So hard to read, so little payoff, such a headache!

And speaking of things that are super cute, let's talk about Elise for a second. She is the darling newlywed behind the blog Mr. and Mrs. Hunter. I actually know Elise from a few years ago when I was dating her friend. She's just getting into the blogging scene, and I don't know how she did it, but she knows more about blogging in a few months than I knew in a few years. These cookie bars are on my to-make list, and did I mention I've stalked her wedding and engagement pictures multiple times? Her bouquet is so perfect.

Go say hi to Elise and make her day!
