Silver Lining: let's talk about textbooks

let's talk about textbooks

I'm just stopping in for a second to talk about something all college students are on fairly even ground about:

textbook prices.

I mean, you have to get the textbooks to pass the class (and, you know, so you can learn and stuff), but they're so darn expensive!

Untilllllllllll (drumroll please) I was told about this website: CampusBookRentals.com

To be honest, the first thing that drew me into their site was their graphic design (to whoever does the graphic design: it's fabulous).

By renting a textbook, you can save up to 80%, and you can ship both ways for free. Not to mention, using their new RentBack service, they'll find readers for your books, and you get paid each time someone reads them. It's a win-win-win-win (wins for the renter, the seller, the graphic designer, and Michael Scott). Oh, and they donate to Operation Smile with each purchase, which I love.

Check them out here, and their rent back service here. Three cheers for saving (and even making) money on textbooks!
