Silver Lining: book worm

book worm

My idea of a good weekend includes a book or two, always. In college, I had so much textbook reading to do that I rarely indulged in reading a good novel. Now, I squeeze them into weekends and quiet evenings and always Sunday mornings. In fact, it's a general rule in our house that books get a higher priority than folding the laundry :)  It's my dream to one day have a gigantic library full of readable books that people come over to borrow. I may or may not have gone through a phase where I wanted to name all my children after To Kill a Mockingbird characters (starting with Atticus for my first son).

Needless to say, I love the Provo library. It's gorgeous, historic, houses a beautiful ballroom, and is full of my favorite things. Thanks Jason for coming along this week as we snapped some pictures, jumped off the stairs, and checked out books upon books. He's such a fun little dude to hang out with :)

Happy weekend!
Read a book :)

Reading such a calming thing for me. I need to get some new books to read for sure!

And To Kill a Mockingbird is my favorite as well. maybe that's what I'll reread this weekend!

I know exactly how you feel, there is nothing I love more than sitting down with a good book. I definitely plan to have a room with wall to wall bookshelves overflowing with books, one day :)
