this is what my classroom looks like

through my close-up lens.

It's not perfect, and it's low budget, but it's bright and clean and ready to rock & roll tomorrow!

  1. love this post! What great photos...it took me back to my good old elementary days when books and glue sticks meant my favorite things (reading time, and craft time!) I bet you are a fabulous teacher!

  10. Your professional life has begun - congrats! I think your room looks amazing. I love that you are teaching cursive or at least exposing your students to it. Enjoy the excitement of the first day. For me, the first day of school even has a smell associated with it. It is hard to describe, but it is fresh and electrically charged.

  12. Do you have Cory's old room? (I don't know who taught last year in that room, but I know Cory Barbato taught there the year before)

    1. No, I don't think so. Lindsey had it last year, and Rachelle had it the year before. Cory's room might have been right next door to mine though? It looks almost identical to this room.

      Did you teach at Meadow???

  13. I can't believe you're a real teacher! I love the book selection. Sometimes I can't tell the difference between interesting and important, I hope your students learn that better than I did! Have fun tomorrow.

  20. Awww fun! I was at the store the other day passing by all the school supplies and I wanted to buy stuff just because. I don't need school supplies at all, but it was just so fun as a kid picking out fall clothes and lisa frank notebooks. But I was getting Lisa Frank crap all through highschool. Still love it ;)
